Know Our Center in Shatila?
In the midst of Shatila camp, next to the UNRWA water tank lies our Shatila center. Shatila is the first center opened by Basmeh & Zeitooneh in Beirut area in 2013 and most B&Z programs run there. Currently, you will find a learning center hosting more than 700 students, arts and culture center where children and adults can express themselves through different mediums of art, protection program, relief program, and vocational training program offering English, Arabic, computer, hairdressing, photography and many other classes.
Despite the tough circumstances of the camp’s residents, the center staff along with the people of Shatila are very friendly and would welcome any visitor. Do not hesitate to visit us to know more about our programs!
