Share Your Art Skills and Support Our Arts & Cultural Center!

Are you an artist willing to help displaced children, adolescents and adults in Lebanon? Do you have experience in teaching and a creative idea for an art workshop?

People from underprivileged backgrounds rarely get the chance to discover the magic of art. We, in Basmeh & Zeitooneh, believe that there are many talented artists yet to be discovered in the refugee communities we work with. Help them access their hidden skills and capacities by organising an art workshop or arts classes in our center!

Our Arts & Cultural Center in Shatila is one of the oldest and most successful projects at Basmeh & Zeitooneh. Established in 2014, the center provides a space to identify, foster and showcase new talents from the Syrian and Palestinian communities living in the camps. Until today, we’ve taught photography, acting, dancing, filmmaking, painting and more.

We will help you fundraise to cover the costs of your workshop (equipment, facilitators, space…), improve our center and provide even more opportunities to the community!
