This report aims to give a voice to those directly and indirectly affected by compulsory military service systems in contexts of conflict and displacement. Military conscription remains a major concern for many individuals living in affected regions, as well as for those who are unable to return to their country of origin after displacement.
It is therefore important to consider how such systems influence perceptions of safety, dignity, and the feasibility of return for displaced populations.
