Evolving Return Intentions Among Syrian Refugees in Lebanon – Round 3 Findings

This third round continues our longitudinal study following the same group of Syrian refugees across Beqaa Valley, Beirut (Nabaa), and Tripoli. Over one year, the research has tracked how changing economic, social, and security conditions shape return intentions and perceptions of safety.

Conducted between September and October 2025, this round highlights the persistence of uncertainty and resilience amid shifting realities.

A comparative study bringing together insights from all three rounds will be released soon.
