Vocational Training
This program started by providing free English, computer and literacy classes to adults, adolescents and children, in order to encourage personal and educational development. In 2016, we expanded the program to include other types of vocational training, including photography, Photoshop, professional make-up, and accounting courses.
The program was set up in recognition of the fact that refugees in Lebanon, as well as some members of the host community, have had little chances in receiving decent education, particularly if they have already passed school age. The subjects taught in the program, moreover, all aim to increase job prospects for those living in marginalized areas.
